Take these into account
You’ve been asking us a lot lately if we’re a dog-friendly place, and our answer is a definite YES. You can bring your dog regardless of breed, age, or size. Therefore, in return, we would also like to ask you, the dog owners, for a few things so that everyone can have fun and relax at Budapest Garden!
Sure, it sounds trivial at first, but we can’t stress enough: your dog, your responsibility! As Budapest Garden is still a relatively new place, we are still working on several parts of the park to this day - and these are not the safest areas for an animal. Plus, it’s very easy to wander in a park this big, so it’s best to always keep an eye on your pet!
We love dogs for sure, but we are also aware that many people do not like them or are downright afraid of them. So don’t let your puppy near strangers in the park, no matter how friendly and well-behaved they are!
Please, if your dog leaves any dirt behind, clean it up immediately! This point may not need further explanation. :)
Of course, you don’t have to keep the dog on a leash all time while you are in the park, but for safety reasons, please have one with you! And as we mentioned above, preferably don’t let your dog run free around the place. Our policy includes one exact point about this:
4:13. Pets are allowed in the park, but you have to make sure that your dog doesn't disturb anyone. If necessary, staff may instruct the dog-owner to use a muzzle and leash.
It is best for your dog to use its own bowl, so if you have the opportunity to do so, be sure to bring a bowl with you. You can ask the staff for fresh water.
You can also bring dogs into our bars, terraces, and the open-air cinema. Pets are not allowed in the sports fields. Only bring a dog to the Budapest Garden at your own risk. Keep in mind that, since we’re essentially an entertainment complex, the park can be noisy for dogs at times. We cannot provide food for dogs.
Considering the rules mentioned above, we welcome all dog-owners in Budapest Garden with great love!
